GALILEO program: The European Commission has selected the consortium led by Pole Star, associated with EADS Astrium GmbH and Thales Alenia Space to provide the general directorate in charge of the Galileo program with technical support on all regulatory issues related to the frequencies spectrum management used by Galileo and EGNOS. This technical support includes monitoring of the work of the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) and CEPT (European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications) for 30 months until the conference WRC-2012 (World Radiocommunication Conference) which will take place in Geneva at the ITU’s headquarters from January 23 to February 17, 2012.

This contract is particularly important for Pole Star. It confirms the recognition by the highest authorities of the European Union in charge of the Galileo program, of the high level of expertise of Pole Star and allows the company to consolidate its perfect knowledge of EGNOS and Galileo and to consider this information in its development and ensuring this way full compatibility of NAO ® solutions with EGNOS and Galileo signals.
